"Breakdown" is an exploration of our lowest moments, the times we're broken, exhausted, completely tapped out and we just need a lifeline. Co-written with Tiffany Kintzer, the song was born from a conversation exploring moments we each felt like we'd reached rock bottom, and how hard it can be to admit that we just need someone to hold us upright...but how important that can be as part of the process of finding a way through the darkness.

"Breakdown" morphed into a thing of delicate, vulnerable beauty - the ability to be vulnerable and so raw can be a strength, and that strength and hope shines through as the song progresses, even as it stays open ended like a question.
